It seems that they can keep them for as long as they want.   Anything you send out on Twitter is kept on record, and the government can take them whenever they want as they have an agreement with Twitter.

TSA Assaults Another

Once more in the discusting display of the abuse of power they have been given, the TSA assaults yet another innocent victim, this time an 85-year-old, 110-pound grandmother.  Anyone can be a terrorist, if the government says so.

Defense Bill to Hold US Citizens Indefinitely Without Trial Passes Senate

The current National Defense Authorization Act, which "would deny suspected terrorists, even U.S. citizens seized within the nation's borders, the right to trial and subject them to indefinite detention", has passed the Democratic-held Senate, 93-7.  Here's a list of those Senators who voted for and against it.

Obama Admin Decides US Citizens as Military Targets

After the death of US citizen Anwar al-Awlaki, it has been questioned how far the administration can go when it comes to killing US citizens without a trial.  According to Obama's lawyer, US citizens ARE military targets, and that the president, NOT the United States judicial system, decides who that target is.

Mysterious Iranian Explosions

A report earlier this month said there was an explosion at an Iranian military base near Iran's capital of Terhan, killing a reported 27 guard members.  Now there has been a second explosion at the city of Isfahan, which is where a key nuclear facility is located.  Iranian officials said it was a military drill not related to the nuclear facility, but other reports included a gas station explosion and a training accident.  What is for certain is that, once word of the explosion reached Israel, the Fars news agency quickly removed the story.
